We need time for God to speak to us without anything interfering. Often. Undisturbed. Constant contact with Him. We cannot live successful Christian lives without being connected. Going to church, singing songs, being around other Christians, and things of that nature do not keep us connected with God Himself. TRUE fulfillment comes when we are sold out for God. James 4:7-8, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. COME NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL COME NEAR TO YOU. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded.” I find myself praying throughout the day, only when I need things. I never take the time during my day to praise him and say “Thanks, Big Papa!” Find somewhere to go and be with God, not to yammer about needing things.
